So … who am I?

Well I started life drawing as a kid, always wanted to be an artist when I grew up. Of course I never listened to my parents about being good at everything in school and so when it came time too get in to college, despite aceing all of my art related subjects my grades just weren’t good enough!

I did get in eventually and went on to have a long career in graphic design (for my sins!) but in the mid 2000’s following several redundancies and a declining print industry in the UK I decided it was time to pursue my own path.

Nowadays I teach traditional art in the community. My sessions cover all sorts of subjects not just fantasy, I firmly believe that to get fantasy you have to know how to paint the real world first.

I also work commercially as an illustrator on various projects including book cover work and internal illustrations for RPG’s, album covers, movie posters… the list goes on. And of course if you are after an illustrator please do get in touch.

You can also find me on YouTube where I am busy building a channel that gets behind the scenes of all the creative shenanigans I get up to.
